Carrol Harry Reed was born in Montpelier January 7, 1909 the son of Hugh Benjamin and Agnes Rachel Peckinpaugh Reed.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1928.  He married Eileen Wilcox February 9, 1931 in Salt Lake City.  He died October 6, 1975 in Los Angeles, California.
