Edward Larsen was born in Montpelier January 9, 1907 the son of Andrew and Martine Petersen Larsen.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1925.  He served in the US Army.  He died June 2, 1943 at Fort Lewis, Washington and was buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Emmett, Idaho.
