Russell Henry Schoper was born July 7, 1915, the son of George August and Grace Mildred Whitman Schoper. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1933. He married Ellen Mae Jack April 8, 1934 in Davis, Utah.  He died January 25, 1982 and was buried in the Wichita County Cemetery in Wichita Falls, Texas.
