Dorothy Tingey was born June 15, 1918 the daughter of William Wiley and Sarah Ireta Dewey Tingey.  She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1936.  She married Gerald Leon Peterson February 21, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple.  She died October 3, 1996 in Spokane, Washington and was buried in the Bess Hampton Cemetery in Othello, Washington.
