June Welker was born April 23, 1919 in Montpelier the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth Wright Welker.  She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1936.  She married Oren John Poulton.  She died April 4, 1975 in Vietnam.

News Examiner, Montpelier, Idaho, April 17, 1975 Relatives in Montpelier have received notification of the deaths of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Poulton, formerly of Salt Lake City, in the air crash of the Jetliner bringing Vietnamese orphans to the United States from Saigon. The Poultons had been with the U.S; Government in Saigon for some time, and had offered to accompany the orphans to the Sates. Relatives were notified there were not identifiable remains to.be shipped home. Mrs. Poulton was formerly June Welker, daughter of Ray and Libbie Wright Welker, Montpelier residents. She is a sister of Donald Welker and Catherine Torgler of Bountiful.
