Evelyn Dimick Horsley was born March 8, 1905 in Wardboro.  She was the daughter of Frances Alma Dimick and Celia Alice Evans.  She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1923.  She married Herbert Horseley and they were later divorced. She married Melvin Mortenson on April 29, 1943.  She died on May 3, 1962.
