Curtis Ray Humpherys, 25, died March 23, 1991 in an automobile accident.  He was born June 14, 1965 in Montpelier to Ray L. and Marlene Nye Humpherys.  He spent most of his growing-up years in Montpelier other than three years in Australia and six months in Israel until he graduated from Bear Lake high School in 1983.  He then spent time traveling to different states doing construction, concrete and carpentry work.  He also attended one year at Idaho State University.  He was working for a construction firm in Salt Lake City doing carpentry work at the time of his death.  He enjoyed all outdoor sports particularly hunting and water skiing.  He also enjoyed music and loved to play the guitar.  He is survived by his parents along with one son.  Funeral services were held at the Montpelier Stake Center.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
