Brandon Merl Ward - Class of 1999

Brandon Merl Ward, 25, will truly be missed, as he passed away December 2, 2006, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Those that knew Brandon felt his love, concern and kindness. Brandon was born April 7, 1981, in Montpelier, Idaho, to Robert and Marsha Roberts Ward. He grew up in the community of Bloomington, Idaho, where he loved the ranch life. He loved living close to the mountains, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors.

Brandon served a mission in the Canada-Halifax Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He graduated from BYU-Idaho with an associate degree in automotive technology and a bachelor degree in technology management. He was currently employed by Starting Line Products Inc. in Idaho Falls as a machinist and technician.

Brandon was very independent but enjoyed being around his family and friends, and was a special uncle to his nephews and nieces.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Robert and Marsha; two brothers, Nathan (Jessica) Ward, Lance Ward; three sisters, A. Jennifer (David) Hurdsman, Amber (Aaron) Lee and Lindsay Ward; two nieces, Serria and Hollie; three nephews, J.R., Mason, and Logan; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Merl Roberts and nephew, Carter Ward.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2006, at noon in the Paris, Idaho Stake Center. Friends may visit with the family on Friday evening, Dec. 8 at Matthews Mortuary from 6 until 8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10 until 11:45 a.m. The interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery.
