Brett L. Poulsen, 39, of 155 Arrapahoe Circle, Green River, WY, died at 11:04 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2000 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, Rock Springs, WY.

He was born November 21, 1960 in Montpelier, ID, the son of Paul Alma and Sandra Woolstenhulme Poulsen. He attended schools in Montpelier. He married Joy Bunderson, May 7, 1983 in Bloomington, ID.

Brett was employed for Bridger Coal as a heavy equipment operator for the past two years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interests were camping, fishing, hunting, outdoor cooking and horses.

Survivors include his wife, Joy, of Green River, WY. Five sons, Chantz, Jared, Colby, Ty and Jace Poulsen, all of Green River; parents, Paul and Sandra Poulsen of Georgetown, ID; three brothers, Troy Poulsen of Georgetown, ID, Danny Poulsen of Green River, WY, Darby Poulsen of Georgetown, ID and a special cousin, loved as a brother, Butch Poulsen of Rock Springs, WY; grandfather, Elzo Poulsen of Liberty, ID and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one infant son; brother, Paul Dirk Poulsen, grandparents, Morris and Fae Woolstenhulme and grandmother, Cerelda Poulsen.

Funeral services were held September 1, 2000 at the Green River LDS Stake Center. Graveside services and interment were in the Montpelier, ID City Cemetery.
