Beverly Brown (Colvin) - Class of 1969

 Beverly Lynn Brown Colvin died Sunday, June 4, 2000, after a valiant battle with cancer.

She was born April 3, 1951, in Montpelier to Dayle and Virginia Brown. Beverly graduated from Bear Lake High School in the class of 1969. Following high school, she attended BYU for one year, and then graduated from Idaho State in 1973.

She worked as a nurse at Mercy Hospital in Nampa, Idaho, at Fairbanks General Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, and at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in Montpelier.

She married Richard Lee Colvin on March 22, 1974. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in October 1997.

Beverly is survived by her husband, of Montpelier; one son, Matthew L. Colvin, Montpelier; four daughters, Bethany L. (Merle) George of Idaho Falls, Stefany L. Colvin, Rebekah L. Colvin, Rochell L. Colvin, all of Montpelier; one grandson, MacCoy B. Colvin; her mother, Virginia Brown of Montpelier; two sisters, Brenda (Ray) Lewis of Boise, Barbara (Bob) Morrison of Idaho Falls; two brothers, Brian C. Brown of Montpelier, Bruce (Colleen) Brown of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her father, Dayle.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2000, at 1 p.m. in the Montpelier Stake Center. Friends may call at Matthews Mortuary this evening, Wednesday, June 7, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Burial will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.
