Robert Earl Wright, born August 29, 1927 in Bennington to Elizabeth Finch and Clarence L. Wright died January 29, 2004.  Bob graduated from Montpelier High School in 1945.  He served in the Army and graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point, New York, class of 1952.  After teaching mathematics at West Point he joined IBM where he worked on some of the early space programs with NASA.  He retired from IBM after 32 years and remained in Houston.  He was a most special husband and father.  He was extremely intelligent, always smiling and eager to help people.  He led by example and lived his life with kindness, grace, love and compassion.  Survivors include his wife along with his daughter.  Funeral services were held in Houston.
