Lynn Crane - Class of 1935

Lynn J. Crane, 43, died at his home in Pocatello on November 16, 1960.  He was born September 8, 1917 in Montpelier, the son of Mahonri B. and Mable Merrill Crane of Bennington.  He attended elementary school in Bennington and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1935.  He married Mary Bernice Perkins on August 3, 1938 in Ogden.  They lived in Bennington and Georgetown where he operated a milk route.  Since 1941 he had been a valued employee of the Union Pacific Railroad first as a fireman and later as an engineer in which capacity he worked until a week prior to his death.  He was loved and respected by all of his fellow workmen and neighbors.  He is survived by his widow, two daughters and one son.  Funeral services were held at the Manning Funeral Chapel in Pocatello.  Burial was in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Pocatello.
