Milton Edghill - Class of 1930

Milton Warfield Edghill, 52, a Wardboro resident since boyhood died early Friday morning April, 1965 in the Bannock Memorial Hospital at Pocatello.  He had been ill for over three years from multiple myeloma.  The son of Frank W. and Marie Gregersen Edghill, he was born October 19, 1912 at Omaha, Nebraska.  When a child he accompanied his parents to Wardboro where he had since lived and engaged in farming.  He also was employed over 20 years in the round house at the Montpelier terminal of the Union Pacific Railroad.  He attended elementary school at Wardboro and graduated from Montpelier High School.  He was an elder in the LDS Church.  Active in Moose Lodge affairs he belonged to local LOOM 858 for 28 years and served as the lodge secretary and held the Fellowship degree.  He was married to Rhea Horsley March 9, 1937 at Randolph.  Survivors include his widow, a son, two daughters and seven grandchildren.  Services were held in the Montpelier Third-Fifth Ward Chapel.  Interment was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
