Elmo Jones, 55, a former Montpelier resident, died November 4, 1965 in St. Paul, Minnesota following a stroke suffered earlier in the year.  He was a son of the late William and Susan Johnson Jones.  He was a graduate of Montpelier High School and was a bookkeeper at the old Stock Chevrolet Company.  He continued in this work in St. Paul.  Surviving are his widow and three children.  Services and burial were held in St. Paul.
