Darrell Keetch - Class of 1939

Darrell Q. Keetch, 62, died Monday in a Pocatello hospital.  He was born December 10, 1920 at Dingle to Elisha Pugmire and Doris Quayle Keetch.  He married Rhoda Fern Sparks October 30, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  He worked as a rancher all of his life.  He was a member of the LDS Church and held several positions including president of the YMMIA, served in the Sunday School presidency and was a counselor in the Dingle Ward bishopric.  He was a member of the Lion's Club, belonged to several square dancing clubs and loved sports.  He was a member of the Bear Lake Cattleman's Association and served on their board of directors.  He was also a ;member of the Star Valley Cattleman's Association and the Idaho Cattleman's Association.  Survivors include his wife, two sons, a daughter and nine grandchildren.  Funeral services were held in the Montpelier fourth Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Wardboro Cemetery.
