Jesse John Hirschi, age 93, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Nov. 22, 2014. He was born on July 5, 1921 to Raynold and Frieda (Messerli) Hirschi in Geneva, Idaho. He married LaRue Jacobson on July 1, 1943 in the Logan Temple. He served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific. Their first son, Jack, was born during this time. Two more sons joined the family, Ned and Roger. LaRue passed away in March 1961.

Jesse married Ruby Hymas on September 10, 1964 in the Salt Lake Temple. Ruby passed away in May 2008.
He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Vicky Hirschi; sons, Ned (Susan) Hirschi, Roger (Merrilyn) Hirschi; daughter, Karen (Rick) Craig; one brother, Roy Hirschi and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; both wives; his son, Jack; and 5 brothers and 7 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Pleasant View 2nd Ward, 250 W. Elberta Dr. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery
