Irene Rigby Todd, age 75, died November 14, 1990 in West Valley City, Utah.
Born July 7, 1915 in Bern, Idaho, a daughter of John Thomas and Eliza Rebecca Kunz Rigby. Married Stanley "M" Todd June 18, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple.Beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Came from a family of 12 children, being the 10th child. Attended BYU and Utah State with a bachelor in Home Economics. Taught school and did some nursing. Loved to drive, loved music, but most of all loved people. Active member of LDS Church, teaching in Primary and Relief Society. Was greatly involved in family history and temple work. Was Sunday School secretary for many years.
Survived by husband, Stanley "M" Todd, West Valley; three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Sherrie) Kirchoff, Magna; Mrs. Mark (Peggy June) Pope, Vernal; Mrs. Walter (Carol Joyce) Cook, Kearns; one son, Charles and wife Julie, Holladay; three sisters, Pearl Michaelson, Logan; Fonda Wilhelmsen, Salt Lake City; Alta Ashby, Lehi; 32 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at the Granger Stake Center, 3835 South 2850 West. Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. at the McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Saturday at the church from 11-11:40 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
