Helen Lloyd Duran, 44, died Friday, July 20, 1984 at Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs following a short illness.

She was born March 19, 1940, in Montpelier, to Lee and Vilda Mumford Lloyd. She attended school in Montpelier and was employed at Burgoyne Cafe.

She married Ambrose W. Duran Sept. 9, 1960, in Alton. They lived in Cokeville, Wyo., and Rock Springs, Wyo. She moved back to Montpelier in 1983 and was employed at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital at the time of her death.

She was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include her husband, Cokeville; two sons, Lloyd and Michael Lee, both of Cokeville; a daughter, Delores, Montpelier; her parents, Montpelier; three sisters, Mrs. Larry (Doris) Bentsen, Montpelier; Mrs. Joe (Jill) Duran, Brigham City, Utah; and Mrs. Walter (JoAnn) Rhodes, Soda Springs.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Matthews Mortuary Chapel. Burial in the Montpelier Cemetery.
