Bruce Bauman - Class of 1958

IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, Pocatello Idaho, GENEVA,- Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend has returned home to his Heavenly Father. Bruce Bauman passed away suddenly at his home in Geneva on Sunday Nov. 24, 2002.

He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

A lifetime rancher in the Thomas Fork area, he was born on June 19, 1940 in Montpelier, Idaho, the son of Woodruff (Woody) and Gwendolyn Hirschi Bauman.

Bruce was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many positiions. He was a lifelong member of the Cattle Association. He attended Idaho State University and majored in welding fabrication. 

He married Doris Marie Adams on June 17, 1961, and the marriage was later solemized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They were the parents of three children, Rex Bruce, Kathleen (Alonzo) Orozco, Brandon Allen (Stacy). His beloved wife Doris, passed away January 27, 1997. He later married Jane Bunderson on Feb. 6, 1999. He had a new lease on life and really looked forward to many happy years with Jane. 

Bruce is survived by his wife Jane and his three children, one sister, JoAnn (Lynn) Davis of St. George, Utah; one brother, DeVerl (Susan) Bauman of Pocatello, Idaho, three grandchildren, Kayla, Brayden and Brynlee; three stepchildren, Kurtis (DeAnn) Bunderson, Angela (Glen) Whitaker, Kim (Ken) Patterson; 10 step-grandchildren, Steve and Joani Whitaker, Amber, Rachael and Carly Patterson, Ben, Ashley, Dalton and Brandi Bunderson. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, an older sister and older brother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov 30 at 1 pm in the Geneva LDS Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Geneva Cemetery.
