(1973) After graduating I worked at the telephone office. In 1936 I married Joe (Lee) Shepherd of Paris. We moved to Salt Lake where Joe was a car salesman. We lived at various times in Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Salt Lake, Provo and American Fork, Utah.

While living in Provo we adopted three children—Jeanne, Jack, brother and sister, and Patt.

In 1955 we moved to Chula Vista, Calif. and resided there 13 years. Three months after we moved back to Tooele, Utah, in 1967 Joe passed away.

I moved to American Fork, Utah and was employed by Bayley Mfg. Co. as a seamstress. Then I went to the Utah State Training School where my position is classified as a cook in charge of special diets.

On June 18, 1970 I married Davis Stewart, Parts manager at the Chevrolet Garage. He has 2 children a boy and a girl, Darrel and Linda.

We have 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
