MONTPELIER - Bird May Nate Michaelson, 92, our beloved Birdie, returned to her heavenly family where she is finally reunited with her loving husband, Toby (Golden Wilkes) Michaelson. Birdie was born to Charles Cornell and Emma May Bird Nate on October 24, 1911, in Dingle, Idaho. On November 14, 1932, she married the love of her life, Toby.

They raised two sons, Gary Lynn and William Kent. She was adored by her sons as well as her three grandchildren, Michelle Ann (Randy) Long, Gary Stephen (Clair) Michaelson and Lisa Lynn (Al) Ray.

She also has nine great-grandchildren, Aislinn, Stephanie, Gary II, Troy, Michaela, Carly, Jamie and Jordan. Birdie also has two great-great-grandchildren, Macus and Matthew.

She is survived by her sons and one sister, Dora Crockett of Palm Desert, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ruth Rohner, and four brothers, Russell, Leslie, Ted and Ferris Nate.

Birdie will be terribly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 25, at 11 a.m. in the Matthews Mortuary Chapel and burial will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.
