Carol Wright (Kunz) - Class of 1946

STANSBURY PARK, Utah - Carol Marie Wright Kunz, 80, of Stansbury Park, Utah, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at her home. Carol was born September 28, 1928, in Montpelier, Idaho, the daughter of Frank and Mary Louise Bowen Wright. She was raised by her grandmother, Willie Lou Robbins, and educated in Montpelier.

Carol married Reed Lynn Kunz on November 19, 1945, in Logan, Utah, in the Logan LDS Temple. 
They later moved to Soda Springs, where they raised their family. After living in Soda Springs, and various places throughout the world, Lynn and Carol retired to their home in Stansbury Park, Utah, in 1989. 
She enjoyed family history, golf, gardening, water sports, fishing and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed trips to Wendover.

She enjoyed her career, holding various prestigious positions throughout employment prior to leaving to join her husband traveling internationally with him as his work required.

She is survived by her husband, Reed Lynn, and one son and one daughter, Greg V. and Arvella Kunz of Bancroft, Idaho, Carolynn and Ron Lau of Emmett, Idaho; and one daughter-in-law, Pauline Kunz of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy L. Kunz.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at noon at the Soda Springs Hooper LDS Chapel. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
