Gayle Tueller (Larson) - Class of 1951

Gayle Larson, 78, passed away Saturday May 5, at her home in Twin Groves, ID. Gayle was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Montpelier, ID to Alvin Christian Tueller and Cecelia Ellen Dustin Tueller. She grew up in Montpelier where she attended school and graduated from high school.

Gayle was an active member of the LDS church, serving two missions. The first was to the Northwestern States Mission and the second to the California Mission where she met the love of her life.

She and Don Coy Larson were married Oct. 7, 1961, in the Logan LDS Temple. They lived in Tacoma, Wash.; Montpelier; Paris; Logan, Utah; Providence, Utah; and St. Anthony. They moved to St. Anthony in 1972 and they have resided there since.They celebrated their 50th anniversary last October.

Gayle is survived by her husband, Don Coy Larson, of St. Anthony, children, Ron (Liberty) Larson, of Rexburg, Lisa Paige, of Boise, Sheldon Larson, of Bozeman, Mont., Alvin (Monika) Larson, of Rigby, Trevor (Katrina) Larson, of St. Anthony, ShaRae (Aaron) Ryan, of Menan, LaRae (Jerry) Shipper, of Grant, RaNae Larson, of Rigby, and Greg (Leah) Larson, of Rexburg; siblings, Elizabeth Olsen, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Loa Lee Nelson, of Bountiful, Utah, Larry Tueller, of Boise, Glade Tueller, of Salt Lake City, Utah; 35 grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild, with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bruce, Don, Scott, Ned and Ted; and daughter, Teresa Gayle Larson.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the St. Anthony LDS stake center with Bishop Creed Webster officiating. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery.
