Our sweet mother, surrounded by family returned peacefully to our Heavenly Father on March 1, 2013. Born to Raymond and May Burton on November 15, 1938. She was raised in Montpelier, Idaho were she attended Bear Lake High. Married Kent R. Wood on December 27, 1957, later solemnized in the Bountiful Temple. She owned and operated the Davis Park Golf Course Cafe where she always had a smile and a good conversation with each of her customers. She enjoyed playing golf, cooking, raising and showing Shih Tzu dogs. Well known for her quick wit and sense of humor. She is survived by her husband, children; Kurt (Ellie), Cindy and Laura, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren with one on the way. Preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and one granddaughter.

Funeral services were held March 6, 2013 at the Bountiful 15th Ward, 1250 South Main. Interment was at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
