Vicky Crossley (Tippetts) - Class of 1964

Vicky Helen Tippetts, 76, passed away unexpectedly at her son’s home in Vancouver, Washington on April 29th, 2022. Vicky was born January 7, 1946, to Ephriam and Helen Crossley in Montpelier, Idaho. As the third child of four, she grew up in Nounan, ID and attended Georgetown Elementary and Montpelier High School. Vicky graduated in 1964.

Vicky grew up as childhood friends with Steven. They later dated in high school. After graduation, they were wed July 22, 1964, in the Logan LDS Temple in Logan, Utah. Vicky and Steven left Montpelier and moved to Boise shortly after.

Vicky was a housewife and helped support her family through babysitting, cake decorating and taking-on odd jobs. She raised six children with Steven, three boys and three girls. She took a job in the 1980’s at Albertson’s General Offices and she remained employed there until her retirement in 2008. Vicky was a member of the LDS Northview Ward in Boise.

Vicky is survived by Steven, her husband of 57 years, her six children, Brent Tippetts of Vancouver WA, Troy Tippetts (Sarah) of Maricopa AZ, Kim Armstrong (Brent) of Meridian ID, Stephanie Smith (Justin) of Boise ID, Ryan Tippetts (Alicia) of Boise ID and Janet Sapien (Jacob) of Boise ID, her eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Ephriam and Helen Crossley, sister Gloria Wixom, brother Winston Crossley and infant granddaughter Taylor Patterson.

Services for Vicky will be held on May 12th, 2022, 11:00am, at the LDS Northview Chapel, 6711 W. Northview Street, Boise. There will be a viewing prior to the service at 10:00am at the Northview Chapel. A luncheon will be held after the service. Burial to follow at Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise.
