In Memory

Lois Walton (Maudlin) - Class of 1960

Daughter of Arthur and Ruth Walton

January 18, 1942 ~ May 5, 2018

Lois lived a full life near her children: Peggy Taylor, Thomas Maudlin and Wendy Miles. Lois served a LDS mission to England where she met her first husband, Robert Clifford Taylor. Together they had children, Peggy and Thomas. Later she married William Thomas Maudlin and she was blessed again with the birth of Wendy.

Lois obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Utah State University in 1986, and then an Associate of Science in Nursing from the University of New York in 1987.

Lois was a steadfast and hard working woman. She was caring of her family and people in general. She provided help and comfort to the sick and was a great example and support to her children through the years.

Lois suffered major health issues in her later years. She was able to use her skills as a nurse to greatly improve her quality of life through diet and exercise. She was very proud of that. People took notice of her progress and there was a two page newspaper article describing her as a medical miracle.

Lois passed away unexpectedly at her home in Roy, Utah. She is survived by her sister, Sue Click; brother, Lee Walton; daughter, Peggy Taylor; son, Thomas Maudlin; and daughter, Wendy Miles. We love and respect her and will always have her example and memory to hold dear in our hearts.

It was her wish to have a private Celebration of Her Life with her brother, sister, children and their immediate families.
