Amber Alleman (Smith) - Class of 1994

Amber (Alleman) Smith June 7, 1976 - June 27, 2023, Amber Alleman Smith (sometimes known as "Bob") passed away at her home in Nounan, Idaho on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, after a courageous fight with liver cancer. She was born on June 7, 1976, to Diane and Blake Alleman.

Amber attended schools in Georgetown, Montpelier, and Rick's College in business and got her associate degree. She used her education in several jobs-her favorite being the postmaster in Georgetown, Idaho.

Amber met her future husband in kindergarten and the attraction stuck. She married her very best friend (Jody Kent Smith), on August 26, 1995, in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with four children. Shawnee, Bailee, Macadee, and Kaleb.

Amber had a wonderful sense of humor, an awesome smile, a desire to serve and a love for others. She held many service callings in the church including, Primary President, Relief Society President, which she poured her whole heart into. Her greatest joys were her 5 grandchildren, (soon to be 7) her horses, dogs, and all family activities and doing anything with Jody!

She is survived by her mom and stepfather, Diane and Dale Bethers; three daughters, Shawnee (Trevor Simons), Bailee (Jack James), Macadee (Kade Hatch); one son Kaleb Smith; five grandchildren; two sisters Angela (Barry Bergholm), and Danyelle (Ryan Spencer); lots of nieces and nephews, her mother and father in law, Kathy and Drue Smith; two brothers-in-law, Jeff (Emily Smith), and Cole (Lynette Smith); two sisters Kelly (Quinn Romrell) and Jackie (Jeremy Parker). She was preceded in death by her dad, Blake Alleman.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30th at 11:00 A.M. with a viewing on Thursday night (29th) from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Georgetown Church and 9:00-10:30 AM Friday morning.
