Rulon Bagley - Class of 1955

Rulon D Bagley, 84, of Saint George, Utah, formerly of Santa Maria, CA, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, in St. George, Utah.

Rulon was born in Montpelier, Idaho on April 1, 1937. He married the love of his life, Sylva, they enjoyed more than 65 years together.

He graduated from the University of Idaho in 1961, With a degree in Electrical Engineering and started working for Western Electric, later AT&T.   His career required several moves until he finally settled in Santa Maria, Ca in 1966, where together they raised 4 children.  He was very active in his church, serving in several positions. He served in many capacities, and used his skills in organization and planning, to bless and help others.   After retiring, he served a mission in the Family History Department in Salt Lake City, where he helped advance the PAF program for all who shared his fondness for Genealogy. After this mission he moved to Saint George Utah where he and Sylva enjoyed their retirement which had been filled with service to his church and others, and many camping trips and visits with his family, friends, and posterity.

Rulon is survived by his wife, Sylva; his son and three daughters, their spouses, 28 Grandchildren and 37 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2022, at 10:00am at the Bloomington Hills 2nd Ward chapel.  A viewing will be prior to services from 9:00-9:45am.

Interment will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
