John Allen Bagley Jr. - Class of 1926

John Allen "Ted" Bagley of Cokeville, Wyoming, died in the Bear Lake hospital at 2:30 a. m. June 12, 1941 of a skull fracture and cerebral hemorrhage, caused by an automobile accident, which occurred the previous evening near Border, Wyoming. Mr. Bagley was alone, and according to reports, he was driving at a relatively low speed when a blow-out caused his car to turn over several times. He was born September 15, 1907 in Salt Lake City, the son of John Allen and Mary Matilda Peterson. He was a member of the class of 1926, however he did not graduate. In addition to his wife he is survived by his father, John A. Bagley of Salt Lake City; five brothers, L. L. Bagley, Almorean Bagley and Hawley Bagley, all of Salt Lake City; Grant Bagley of San Diego, California; and Major. Bagley of Burley; four sisters, Mrs. Archie Whitley of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Clarence Williams of Los Angeles, Mrs. Henry Erickson and Mrs. David Glenn, both of Lewisville. Funeral services were held in the Montpelier 2nd Ward Chapel and burial was in the Montpelier City Cemetery.
