Funeral services for Mollie Nye Sorenson, 61, were held Saturday at Logan. She was a daughter of James S. and Minnie D. Champneys Nye, born September 28, 1904 at Liberty. She was a member of the Montpelier High School class of 1926, however she did not graduate. She married Lawrence J. Sorenson, June 5, 1924, a lifetime teacher. The family lived at McCammon, Driggs, Randolph, and more recently at Logan. Besides her husband and son. Carl J. Sorenson of La Crescenta, California, she is survived by two brothers, Irl C. Nye of Montpelier and J. Vivian Nye of Paris; a sister, Mrs. Joseph W. Hemmert of Logan; and one grandchild. The dedicatory prayer in the Logan City cemetery was given by J. Vivian Nye.
