In Memory

Debbie Lanae Williamson (Wiegman) - Class of 1993

Debbie Lanae Williamson Wiegman passed away from cancer at age 43 in her home in Hyrum, UT on September 4, 2018.

She was born October 20, 1974 to Glen and Annell Williamson. She graduated from Bear Lake High School in Montpelier, ID and attended Ricks College and Utah State University. She married the love of her life, Jeremy Wiegman on January 17, 1997 in the Logan, UT temple. Together they raised three wonderful children.

Debbie loved dancing, playing music, riding horses, writing stories, and spending time with her family. She loved to laugh. People knew her best for her enduring enthusiasm for life and for her genuine willingness to serve others. She could often be found at home making cakes for her friends and neighbors or giving horse riding lessons to children. She wrote and illustrated short stories for her family, and made sure every young cousin, niece, and nephew – no matter how small – played a part in the family reunion talent show at Bear Lake every year. In short, she loved people. There were no strangers in her life, she could talk to anyone about anything. Deb’s perspective on life, outgoing personality and narrative of her experiences enriched the lives of all those who knew her.

She was a peace maker, pure in heart, and a blessed daughter of God. She loved Jesus Christ, and no doubt after taking a few tentative steps toward the next life where she was greeted by friends and family waiting there for her, danced her way across the threshold of Heaven with a song in her heart and praise on her lips to the God who gave her life.

Debbie is survived by, and will be sorely missed by her devoted husband, Jeremy, and their three children, Emily, Nathan, and Caden, as well as her parents, Glen and Annell, and four brothers, Cory, Matthew, Tyler, and Brenton.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nyman Funeral Home.
