Ruby Sutter (Etcheverry) - Class of 1944

Ruby Jean Sutter was born on January 29, 1926 to Lena and Rudolph Sutter in Montpelier, Idaho. She was the youngest of 8 children, whom all preceded her in death. Her husband, John Etcheverry, spending 63 years together, died in 2007.

Ruby loved to read. She also loved to sew and crochet. She loved animals and always had her Lucky dog with her in recent years.

She worked at A.J. Winters school helping with the reading program, while her grandchildren were attending. She was on the Senior Center board for 5 years and always enjoyed helping them out.

Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life and she attended all of their activities.

She is survived by her 3 children; Judith (Raymond) Hanson, Boise, Idaho, Laura (Adam) Davidson, Aiea, Hawaii, and Paul (Lynne) Etcheverry, Montpelier, Idaho. She had 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Charlie Nate.

Services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Schwab-Matthews Mortuary, located at 702 Clay Street Montpelier, Idaho. A visitation will be held Friday evening, April 22, 2016 beginning at 7:00-9:00 pm, for all who want to attend, also held at Schwab-Matthews Mortuary. Interment will be at the Montpelier, Idaho Cemetery, with a luncheon provided by the Relief Society of the LDS 4th Ward, following the interment.
