Clarence Leonard Cleland was born in Murray, Utah on February 3, 1937, the son of Clarence Andrew Cleland and Esther Amelia Youngberg. He was a member of the class of 1955, however he did not graduate. He married Frances Mae Farmer on July 3, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later divorced. He married Carol Jones May 4, 1978 in Elko, Nevada. He died May 3, 1984 in Spring City, Utah and was buried in the Spring City Cemetery.
