Howard Dean Humphreys was born in Wardboro, Idaho June 11, 1925, the son of Samuel and Christine Sorenson Humphreys. He was a member of the Montpelier High School class of 1943, however he did not graduate. He married Mellie Elizabeth Thomsen August 14, 1946 in Soda Springs, Idaho. He died January 6, 1989 and was buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
