Fern Sparks (Keetch) - Class of 1939

Rhoda Fern Sparks Keetch, 93 a beloved, fun-loving adventurous woman who danced her way through life, touching countless lives along the way, and loving her family, which was her greatest joy. On the morning of May 14, 2016 she completed her earthly journey with the comfort of her family surrounding her. 

Born on October 30, 1922 in Dingle, Idaho to John Henry Stewart Sparks and Helen Charlotta Wilcox Sparks, She was the ninth of ten children, she also had three half-brothers from John Henry's first marriage. 

She married her Eternal Companion, Darrel Q. Keetch, on October 30, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised four children, Randall( Dianne) of Wardboro, Richard (Janet) of LaVerlein, Kevin (Deceased) and Michelle (Richard Tufts) of Logan. 

She has now been re-united with her husband and son. As well as her parents, brothers, sisters and more loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of 88 descendants. She was a faithful member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-Day Saints and held countless church callings, serving with her whole heart., 

Her funeral will be held in Montpelier, Idaho on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 12:00 p m , at the Montpelier 4th Ward Chapel, 485 South 7th Street. A viewing will be held prior to services from10:00 - 11:30 am. She will be laid to rest in the Wardboro Cemetery.
