Vesta Aegerter (Bell) - Class of 1936

A funeral service for Vesta Alice Aegerter Bell, aged 98, of Vacaville, CA, will be held Saturday 5 November at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Alamo Building, 311 Alamo Drive in Vacaville, CA. Prior to the service, there will be a viewing starting at 10:00 A.M. Vesta will be laid to rest at the Sierra Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Reno, Nevada on Monday 7 November at 1:00 P.M.

Mrs. Bell was born in Montpelier, Idaho on November 18, 1917, the daughter of John Fredrich and Marie Kohler Aegeter. She passed away peacefully on the morning of October 29, 2016 in Vacaville, California where she has lived for the past 5 years. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Marvin T. Bell who died in 1995 after 55 years of devoted marriage. Vesta is survived by Robert T. Bell (Derena) of Bountiful, Utah; Richard E. Bell (Giselle) of Vacaville, California; and Pati A. Benson (Stanley) of Reno, Nevada. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.

Vesta was a devoted mother and wife - family was the center of her life. She was a beloved educator, teaching high school in Las Vegas, then 4th grade at Agnes Risley Elementary School when she moved to Reno in 1964. Vesta was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association .
