In Memory

Darleen Leissring (Wuthrich) - Class of 1954

Darleen Gail Wuthrich, 75, returned home to her father in heaven after an extensive illness, on August 19, 2010 at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital.  She was surrounded by her family.

Darleen was born on May 19, 1935 in Diamondville, Wyoming to Edward Otto Leissering and Lucille Minnie Perchitti.  She married Earl Nelson Wuthrich on November 10, 1950, and it was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.  She was a faithful member of the LDS Church.

Darleen had many passions and loves.  She loved all forms of crafts.  She was an exquisite porcelain doll maker.  She also loved crocheting and sewing.  Darleen loved the outdoors, spending time hunting, fishing, rock hounding, or ice skating, she made the most of her time doing those things she loved with the ones she loved.  Darleen also enjoyed to go bowling.  She also loved cinema, and knew more trivia about films, actors, and actresses, both past and present, than we could ever imagine.  Above all she was a wonderful mother and wife, and is going to be dearly missed.

Darleen was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Julia, and sister-in-law Pat Leissering.  She is survived by her husband Earl, two sons Anthony (Pamela), Martin (Kim), three daughters, April (Steve) Passey, Lisa (Kelly) Parker, Lori (Raul) Hevia, 27 Grandchildren, and 40 Great-grandchildren; one sister Lucilli Manos and two brothers, Edward (Peggy) Leissering, and Gary (Sandra) Leissering.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010, at the Montpelier 5th Ward LDS Chapel at 1:30 p.m.  Friends may call prior to services from Noon to 1:15 p.m.  Interment will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.
