Violet Patricia Hirschi Boyd March 17, 1935 -October 11, 2017

After a two year struggle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, it is with much love and sadness we announce that Violet Patricia Boyd, 82, a resident of Burbank, California, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Burbank Healthcare Center.

Born on March 17, 1935 in Montpelier, Idaho to Alfred Jacob Hirschi and Sylvia Elaine Leissring Hirschi. She graduated from Montpelier High School in May of 1953. She was the second of four children born to Alfred and Sylvia. She is survived by Nina Jensen, Gloria Elaine (Theone) Johnson, and Timothy (Robin) Hirschi.

Violet Patricia was married to Donald Boyd in Glendale California on May 29, 1959. Their marriage was delayed by two years because Donald was drafted into the Army. They were married 58 years. They had one son, Martin Dale who was born on February 1, 1965.

Violet Patricia is survived by Donald of the home and Martin of Sylmar, Ca.

Interment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood Hills.
