Craig Roberts - Class of 1969

Craig Ebom Roberts, 45, passed away Sunday, June 30, 1996, in Soda Springs, of cancer. He was born March 29, 1951, in Montpelier, Idaho, to Udell and Afton Eborn Roberts. He married Suzann Wilcox Oct. 22, 1971 in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a heavy equipment operator at Monsanto in Soda Springs. He was an active member of the LDS Church and held various callings in the church and was currently serving as the financial clerk in the Georgetown Second Ward. He served in the National Guard in Afton, Wyoming for six years and received an honorable discharge in 1977. Craig is survived by his wife Suzann of Georgetown; three children, Jessica Lloyd, 22, of Georgetown, Marcy, 20, of Logan, and Chet, 16, of Georgetown. He is also survived by his parents, of Liberty; two brothers, Gary and Shane Roberts, both of Liberty; two sisters, Laretta Rigby of Montpelier, and Michele Ulrich of Smithfield, Utah; and two grandchildren, Riley and Britt Lloyd of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by one brother Karl. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, at noon in the Georgetown LDS Chapel where friends may call that morning from 10:30 to 11:45 AM. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery with the services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary of Montpelier.
