John Edward Cochran was born in Montpelier June 13, 1920 the son of Charles Alfred and Annie Martha Christofferson Cochran.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1939.  He served in the US Navy during WWII.  He died April 26, 1967 in San Diego, California.
