Carol Schmid Wahlstrom, 48, died in a Salt Lake City hospital on Wednesday February 18, 1970. Mrs. Wahlstrom was born on October 30, 1921 in Montpelier, the daughter of Charles and Mattie Dewey Schmid. Mrs. Wahlstrom graduated from Montpelier High School in 1939 and attended business college in Salt Lake City. She was married to Louis Weston Wahlstrom August 20, 1941, and they later divorced. She had resided in Salt Lake City for about 20 years. Survivors besides her mother of Montpelier are one son, John Wahlstrom of Salt Lake City, and one sister, Mrs Gordon (Lois) Soper of Dallas, Texas. Funeral services are Friday at 10 a m at 5850 9th East in Salt Lake, and burial there.
