Margery Stephens, 42, a life-long resident of Montpelier, died Tuesday, April 16, 1963 in a Salt Lake City Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born in Montpelier July 24, 1920, the daughter of the late Delmar Owens and Celia Alice Raymond Stephens. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1938. Miss Stephens was a former school teacher and a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by her brother, Frank D. Stephens of Salt Lake City. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday In the Montpelier LDS Thrid-Fifth Ward Chapel. The remains may be viewed from 7 p m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday prior to services at the Matthews Mortuary. Burial will be in the Montpelier City Cemetery.
