Samuel Collins Beckwith was born November 29, 1907 in Evanston, Wyoming the son of John and Lillian Irene Dickey Beckwith.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1926.  He married Irene Elizabeth Dodds in 1934 in Ada, Idaho.  He died May 29, 1936  and was buried in the Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home, Idaho.
