Word was received here Thursday afternoon, July 27, 1933, of the death of Mrs. Genevieve Cruikshank Reading, wife of William Reading of Logan, Utah which occurred at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise caused from heart failure following the birth of a baby girl on July 26, 1933. Genevieve was born May 23, 1911 in Montpelier, the youngest daughter of Frederick Locke and Martha Ellen Burgoyne Cruikshank. She married William J. Reading May 23, 1932 in Boise, Idaho. Genevieve was raised in Montpelier and has a host of friends who will be shocked to learn of her passing. Besides her parents she is survived by her husband, an infant daughter, two sisters and one brother. She was a 1929 graduate of Montpelier High School and later attended the Agricultural College in Logan. Funeral services will be held in the LDS Third Ward Chapel followed by burial in the Montpelier Cemetery.
