Sylvia Ellen Housley was born June 6, 1911 in Lanark, Idaho the daughter of Lewis Charles and Rachel Isabelle Skinner Housley.  She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1930.  She married Milton Hugh Findlay August 27, 1935 in Paris, Idaho.  She died July 9, 1986 in Grand Junction, Colorado and was buried in the Ogden City Cemetery in Ogden, Utah.
