Ruby Allman Laughter, 75, died Oct. 31, in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 3, 1915, in Bern to John Peter and Martha Maria Helene Ladewig Alleman. She attended schools in Bern, Montpelier and Logan, graduating from Montpelier High School in 1933. On Oct. 24, 1934, she married Wesley Edny Laughter in Paris. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He died Jan. 8, 1968. She married Arnold Sorenson on Feb. 9, 1968. He died May 6, 1976. She was a mamber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked in the Primary auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Wesley Reed Laughter, Nounan and Allen John Laughter, Elko, Nv.; three daughters. Mrs. Joseph (Marlene) Failoni, Syracuse, Ut.; Mrs Tom (Louona) Granger, Elko, Nv.; Mrs. John (Aileen) Martinez, Montpelier; one brother, Lyman John Alleman Sr , also of Montpelier; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. Funeral services were held Nov 2, 1990 in the Montpelier First Ward Chapel Burial was held in the Montpelier Cemetery.
