Irvin LaGrand Mouritsen was born September 20, 1920 the son of Irvin and Lula Thornock Mouritsen.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1938.  He married Sharlene Smith.  He died June 22, 1997 and was buried in the Wellsville City Cemetery in Wellsville, Utah.
