Q. Sirrine - Class of 1938

Sherwood Quayle Sirnne, 48. died November 3, 1967 in an Ogden hospital. He was born December 4. 1918 in Dingle. the son of James Warren and Catherine Quayle Sirrine. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1938. He married Dolores Hansen, June 16, 1983 in Elko, Nevada. Mr Sirrine was employed by General Services Administration in Clearfield. Utah, was a member of the LDS Church and a veteran of the World War II 752 Tank Battalion, African Theatre with General George Patton. He attended grade school in Dingle, and graduated from Montpelier High School with the class of 1938. He is survived by his widow; stepson and stepdaughter. Dennis Hansen of Roy, Utah and Mrs. Robert Burton of Ogden; seven grandchildren; stepmother, Mrs J. W. Sirrine of Cokeville; two sisters, Mrs J. D. (Ruth) Cushman of Logan and Mrs. J. D. (Avon) Stevens of El Paso, Texas. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, William George. Funeral services were Tuesday at Linquist Mortuary in Clearfield and interment was in the Clearfield City Cemetery.
