Jason Roy Cook - Class of 1990

Jason Roy Cook, 22, of Georgetown died January 11, 1995.  He was born January 26, 1972 in Pocatello the son of Boyd C. and Sheryl Irene Moser Cook. He attended school in Georgetown and graduated from Bear Lake High School. He was a four-year seminary graduate and attended Idaho State University. While in Montpelier he worked for Broulim's Supermarket and the Ranch Hand Truck Stop. He also worked for J.R. Simplot as a surveyor, as a fire fighting driver for the US Forest Service and on construction. On January 25, 1991 he married Rebecca Ibarra at Pocatello and this marriage ended in divorce. He was a member of the LDS Church and had been active in scouting. He was a gifted artist and enjoyed making sketches with pen and ink and with charcoal.  Survivors include his parents, a brother and a sister. Graveside services were held at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Pocatello.
