Minnie Feinauer (Bartschi) - Class of 1928

Mabel Minnie Feinauer Bartschi, born April 1, 1911 in Montpelier, Idaho, returned to her Father-in-Heaven on October 28, 1993.

From the age of 12, she was a church organist and served in many other church callings. In her 73rd year she served in the Hartford, Connecticut Mission at the Joseph Smith Memorial, Sharon, Vermont with Darel, her companion and husband of 60 years.Hundreds of her piano students eagerly practiced in hopes of earning a weekly gold star. She pursued her musical studies at the University of Utah, was an enthusiastic pupil even in her 60's, and had a lifelong love of learning.

She married Darel Paul Bartschi in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 13, 1933.

She is survived by her husband, Darel, daughters, Karen Shields, San Diego; Joyce Wall, Bountiful; Susan Domina, Carson City; Janet Gracey, Sandy; and Gayle; 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Monday, November 1, 1993 at 10:00 a.m. in the East Millcreek 4th Ward Chapel, 3103 East 3600 South, Holladay. The family will greet friendsSunday, October 31, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, from 5-7 p.m. and at the 4th Ward Chapel on Monday one hour prior to services.
